Analysis of picture shots

Below are some of the images we took for the picture shots in our music video. This was part of our original plan and so we had an idea as to what we wanted us to do in them and where they would be set. However by the time we got round to doing the picture shots we was all tired after a long day of filming and so didn't really think about mis en scene. Here is an analysis of some of the pictures we took for the picture shots:

This picture was used as part of our 360 degree shots, I'm not happy with the picture because you can see all of the cars in the background this will therefore make our video look unprofessional. If i was facing the other way there wouldn't have been so many images with cars in the background and instead there would have been tree's. Making us the main focus in each shot.

This shot was used for the picture shots of us walking towards the camera. Again we made the same mistake as we did before. As we wasn't going around in a circle we should have thought more carefully about what was going to be in the background. As you can see in our background we have a pub and cars something which you wouldn't see in an actual music video.

This shot was used as part of our 360 degree shot, as mentioned earlier we should have thought about mis en scene and what way we was facing because most of the shots didn't have a very nice back ground which would make the video look unprofessional. We also made a big mistake of leaving the tripod in the area we was taking the pictures, as you can see in the above photo. This is something me and Alice was both really disappointed in as we could have easily moved this is we was both focusing on mis en scene instead of trying to get it done as quickly as possible.

I know have a better understanding as to how important mis en scene is and what impact it can have, in any future work i will focus carefully on this as this has been my downfall in the pictures taken.
