This is the questionnaire we asked people to fill out, as you can see it is simple and there are a lot of open ended questions so we could get detailed opinions to make our video more of a sucess.

By finding out that the majority of people we asked do like listening to pop music it will make the planning, construing and editing of our music video a lot easier as we will be able to refer to these answers and know that people do genuinely like pop music videos. As well as that by having such a high figure it also means that people do like pop and we are choosing a genre that a lot of people would listen to.

an idea that pop music video were meant to be narrative and so my asking this
question I know this is what the majority of other people think a pop music
video should be like too. I know now that my video should tell a story and so
will need to ensure I plan to make this happen. By doing this people will be more likely to enjoy the video and it is more likely to be successful.

By asking this question I will have a better idea as to what the story in my music video should tell. By asking my auricle what the want to see and what is most popular and can meet their needs, this may mean that the y are more likely to enjoy the video and it is more likely to be successful.
5. There was also a number of anwsers for this question here are some of the reaults that came up frequently:
- The relationships portrayed are different (boys tend to chase girls whereas girls are shown to be crying over boys)
- Girls have more girls in their video whereas boy bands like to have lots of female extras
- Girl bands tend to be the main focus (boys have extras whereas girl bands are the only ones being filmed)
- They have different styles as they appeal to different target audiences
- Some people did say they feel boy/girl bands have the same music videos and there are no different styles
- Girls are more sad
As we are going to produce a girl band pop music video it will be good to see how our tare market expect to see a boy group and a girl group video to be portrayed. As well as that by finding out why people like and watch girls music videos we will be able to take some of the elements from the videos and use them in our video therefore making it more likely that our target market will enjoy it.

I asked this question to see what type of pop artists/ bands were most popular and appealed to my target market. By finding out this I will be able to look at some of the music videos they have produced and see what is a recorring pattenr and use some of these fatures in my own music video, therefore meaning that it could be more enjoyable.

I asked this question to find out what factors make the music videos peoples favourite. By finding out this I can look at some of the features and see how feasible it is to include it in my own music video. By including this in my music video it should hopefully make it clearer that our music video is pop and it should be more successful.

I asked this question to find out how influential pop artists are, by finding this out I get a better understanding as to how what we wear and how we act in our music video will be important as our target market will be influcned. As well asthat by finding ot what our target market like we can try to copy and do the same.
